Lower Your Cholesterol May 13, 2008
I have been taking this product ( three caps a day ) for over four years with great results. My total Cholesterol used to be 230-240 and I could not get it down regardless of my diet, exercise etc. Now my total Cholesterol is 180-190, I also take Nordic Naturals Omega 3 and this has raised my good cholesterol ( 3 caps a day also ) from 50 to 70.
This is a great bproduct, TRY it.

I started taking red yeast rice because my doctor recommended it. Solaray is the only brand I have used, so I cannot compare it to other brands. I have no desire to try another brand because Solaray Red Yeast Rice lowered my cholesterol level 50 points! I have been taking it for two years now and have had no apparent side effects.

For what it is worth, I was taking Zocor for my high Cholesterol. I didn't like the 1) cost and 2) side effects. Went on to Solaray Red Yeast Rice and my Cholesterol is now good, as good a Zocor. I had investigated the reviews on various Red Yeast Rice products and I thought Solaray was one of the best.
My Cholesterol is good and I haven't looked back.

I am using Red Yeast Rice along with other medication to help control my Cholesterol. It really seems to be helping and I am pleased with the product.
